Kunda is a small coastal town that grew up around cement production and is one of Estonia's oldest industrial settlements. Its housing is mainly apartment blocks with private housing on the edge of town, and there are more than fifty streets. As befits an industrial town there are also workshops and warehouses, whose steel doors need different locks from a flat door.
