Kuusalu is a parish centre on the Tallinn–Narva road, with a school, a church and the parish office, and a mix of private houses and two-storey blocks around them. Being on the main road means the settlement is easy to reach and lies directly on our usual route east out of Tallinn. Public buildings here most often ask for a key system: a master key that opens everything, with each room also having its own.
